Hotel accommodation terminology
Sgl – single room
Dbl — double room
Twin — double room with two beds
Trpl — triple room
Quad — quadruple room
Suite — a place with a separate bedroom
Junior suite — a large room with a partitioned sleeping place which is turned into the living-room during the day
Extra Bed (exbed) — extra bed
Chd — child (usually in a room or suite with the parents)
Inf — infant, under 2 years old
Per person, pax — per person
Check in — check in
Check out — check out
Hotel — hotel
Mini bar — mini bar in the room
Pool bar — bar by the swimming pool
Reception — registration-desk, reception
BO (bed only), RO — accommodation only, meals not included.
Double-up — a system of accommodating two separate people in one room (when people who don’t know each other stay in one room and the administration keeps 2 cards on a special stand in the reception in a pocket under the number of that room).
FullHouse — the term means that the hotel is completely full (all rooms occupied or booked).
TouristClass — the name of the economy class. The guests who stay in such rooms do not have their separate bathrooms.
